This week's theme for Texture Tuesday is orange. I though about some orange flowers, or leaves or other fall related images, but in the end I had to process this photo I took on Thursday of Jack Layton leaving the House of Commons. For those of you outside of Canada, Jack Layton was the leader of the New Democratic Party and he died shortly after leading his party to it's most successful result in our last election, to being the Official Opposition. Orange is the colour of the NDP, and it seems only fitting to pay tribute to Jack.

"So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world..."

  1. Oh...this is so honoring! Great shot. And an awesome quote too.

Hope you have a blessed day♥

  2. Visiting from "Texture Tuesdays". Brilliant! Yep, that about sums it up :)

  3. Gives me goosebumps . . . he died too young and it's very sad. Love how you quoted him.
